Amus Moore was (is?) a poet from Chicago. Probably best known for his "Poem To A Hip Generation" on the Black Spirits compilation on the Motown subsidiary, Black Forum.

Moore -- as "Amus Mor" -- appeared on two Muhal Richard Abrams records, Young At Heart - Wise In Time and Levels and Degrees of Light (where he also recites).

Moore was also known as "David Mor."
