Last Of The Blacksmiths

And Then Some (VGS-005)

Format:
45rpm 7" Vinyl Single | Compact Disc (CD) single

Edition:
Unlimited - First run 1000 copies

Release Date:
April 01, 2007

Songs:
And Then Some
You Think I’m Okay

Additional Info:
Second release following their 2005 eponymous album. Their first release on Vanguard Squad. The band recorded the songs entirely live in their hometown, San Francisco, with no overdubs. It beautifully captures their élan and love for family. With lyrics for "And Then Some" written by a band member's grandfather and a cover designed by another member's father, the Blacksmiths are both traditional to the folk music of former times as well as fortifying the bedrock of today's young family song.
